After several months of doubts, unknowns and suspicions, the truth is finally known. Julia Faustyna, the young Polish woman who claimed to be Madeleine McCann, has no British roots, as her DNA reveals her origins to be in Poland, with some Lithuanian and Russian influence.
Thanks to these results, we can affirm that Julia is not the British girl who disappeared in the Portuguese Algarve in 2007 during a family vacation and of whom no information is available today.
The medium Fia Johansson has declared in an Instagram post that although the girl is not Madeleine, she cannot be blamed for having that belief, since she has many doubts about her childhood and everything seemed to fit together at first.
”The story is much more complicated than a young Polish girl wanting attention. She really believed what she was saying,” Johansson writes in a video for her Instagram account.
It all started when Faustyna created an Instagram account in which she claimed to be Madeleine McCann. In a matter of days, the profile had more than 1 million followers who supported the young woman in her search for the truth. Although she never had the support of the police, the young woman achieved a lot of coverage in the media.
A short time later, faced with Faustyna’s accusations about her family, her parents made a statement stating that the girl is their daughter and that they could prove it with videos, photos of her childhood… In addition, they assured that the young woman should take medication that she wasn’t taking it and that she had always wanted to be famous, but that they couldn’t do anything because she didn’t live in the family home.
The social network Instagram closed the young woman’s account for dealing with such a serious issue as the disappearance of little Madeleine and allowed the Justice and the authorities to act in the case.
A short time later, Julia Faustyna left Europe due to the serious death threats she was receiving and went with Fia Johansson to the United States, from where they have been working on a frantic investigation.
Faustyna’s representative has announced that she has 100% European ancestry, but these would not be all the tests that the young woman would want to do to find out her true origins. From the beginning, the girl wanted to take a DNA test with Madeleine’s parents, something that she, although she stated that it was going to happen and that they had accepted, never took place.
She also asked her current family to undergo medical tests, but they do not want to participate in Julia Faustyna’s “media circus”, something that has raised many suspicions in the girl and in the American researcher.
During these months, each step that the young woman took opened a new vertex of controversy and it was even claimed that she suffered from leukemia. After several tests and a long wait, Julia Faustyna can at least rule out that she is the daughter of the McCanns.
Before leaving the United States, the young woman will give an interview with Fia Johansson to show the world the reality of the girl, “who cannot hold back her tears when she talks about her past.”
