The Easter return operation this Easter Sunday afternoon is causing delays on the A-1, A-2, A-3, A-5, A-6 and A-42 highways to Madrid.
According to data from the General Directorate of Traffic consulted by Europa Press at 6:30 p.m., the road with the highest incidents is the Northern Highway (A-1), there are traffic jams at kilometers 44 -El Molar-, 49 -Sierra Lagos-, and 56 -Cabanilles de la Sierra-.
For its part, the Northeast Highway (A-2) registers traffic jams at three points in Guadalajara in the Madrid direction: at kilometer 73 in Torija, at kilometer 93 in Argecilla, and at kilometer 103 in Almadrones. According to data from the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), a total of 26 people have died in 22 road accidents so far in the special Easter operation, from Friday, March 22 at 3 p.m. until this Sunday at 8:00 p.m.
