Candilazo, spring and puddles in Santa CecÃlia de Voltregà , Osona region, a landscape after the rain, grateful in these times of drought in Catalonia.
Santa CecÃlia de Voltregà is located in the Riera Sorreigs valley, a tributary of the Ter River. An area where agriculture and livestock predominate.
In a context of drought, when four drops fall and a puddle like the one in the image forms, it is like an oasis in the desert, very useful for the land and also for livestock.
Meteorological phenomena follow one another and to the showers with droplets are added the flashes, when the clouds in the sky show a wide palette of colors that goes from pink to the most intense orange.
As part of the phenomenon of scattering of sunlight, in the morning and afternoon hours, when the sun is closest to the horizon, the light that reaches Earth is soft tones between red and orange.
In a certain way, when this light passes through the clouds, it illuminates them and it could be said that it colors them with those hues.
