The student with the best grade in the University Access Assessment (EvAU) in the Community of Madrid, Ha I Park, is a student of Korean origin from the IES Jaime Ferrán de Collado Villalba, committed to studying Law and International Studies at the University Carlos III of Madrid. “I have prepared a lot”, she has affirmed in statements to Europa Press.

Ha I Park, who has admitted in statements to Nius that ten years ago “did not know a word of Spanish”, has summarized his recipe for success in a mixture of details such as adjusting his schedule to that of the EBAU and taking exams and asking the teachers their doubts. Some teachers that he, he assures her, who have always helped him.

The student, of Korean origin, has pointed out that in high school she did not study all day before but instead opted to study daily. “Also understanding, more than just learning it,” she stressed.

Despite this, he has expressed that he did not leave the EBAU exams “with a good feeling” and that he thought he had done worse.

The public institute student believes that her experience of the two cultures, Spain and Korea, can help her when studying International Studies, after arriving in Spain when she was barely eight years old.

After Ha I Park with a 10 in the EBAU, there was a four-way tie with a 9,975 from the Higlands El Escinar School, Salesianos Paseo de Extremadura, San Viator and Trinity College Liceo Serrano.

More than 96.5% of the students who took the 2023 Community of Madrid University Access Assessment exams have passed, two points more than the previous year, after taking the test last week in the different Madrid public universities campus.
