The incident occurred around 4:06 p.m., prompting officers to respond to the mall for a reported shooting, initially treated as an active shooter situation until further details were gathered. The suspect’s vehicle was found unoccupied in Edgewood, while the shooter remains at large, as confirmed by Bel Air Police.

Although the vehicle initially reported was described as a red SUV, the exact type of vehicle located was not disclosed by authorities. The suspect’s identity is being kept confidential due to the ongoing investigation.
