The State House Chamber is undergoing a major technological renovation, with workers installing new LED display boards and upgrading the audio system. The historic 1895 chamber is getting a facelift to showcase its importance in American history.
In addition to the chamber renovations, there is a separate effort to address the Golden Dome. The State House will be closed for a few days to replace power cables damaged in a fire in July 2023.
