From Aitona to Begur y Pals, from the land to the sea, from the colorful fruit tree fields of Segrià to the luminous blue of the Mediterranean on the Costa Brava and the Baix Empordà. This is the spring tour proposed by this photographic report in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.
When spring arrives, Aitona completely turns to welcoming visitors and other towns also present this great attraction of flowering fruit trees.
The main economic activity of Aitona is agriculture, where the cultivation of fruit trees stands out. Since 1989 it has had an agricultural cooperative.
There are routes to walk and cycle through the fields in bloom. It is wonderful to walk among the trees and flowers, since wherever you look there are bright colors.
And from the land, we go to the sea, to the Costa Brava, where the panoramic views of Illa Roja stand out, a nudist beach some 180 meters long and 65 meters wide with fine sand and internationally known crystal clear water. Its name comes from the large reddish rock located in the water a few meters from the shore.
This Begú beach is part of the itinerary of the coastal path that leads from Sa Riera beach to Racó de Pals beach.
