While spring is prolonged in Berguedà, summer is in full swing in Osona. As we see in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia, July has begun with a changeable climate, which sometimes goes back to the season and other times it is in full summer.

On the one hand, we can contemplate charming landscapes that are more spring than summer in the company of lenticular clouds in La Pobla de Lillet, in Berguedà.

In the images, the unmistakable silhouette of Pedraforca stands out above all. It is one of the most emblematic mountains in Catalonia, located in the Sierra del Cadí, within the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park area.

Located on the border between the provinces of Barcelona and Lleida, Pedraforca has a very peculiar shape due to its two peaks separated by a large col.

The lenticular cloud is shaped like a lentil, as its name indicates, or a saucer or converging lens. They are stationary and form at high altitudes in mountainous areas and isolated from other clouds.

On the other hand, a few kilometers away and already in the Osona region, we can appreciate this summer sunrise with some mist in the valleys, in Sant Martí Sescorts.

The town of Sant Martí Sescorts is located in the southwestern part of the municipality of Santa Maria de Corcó-L’Esquirol, straddling the Collsacabra and the Plana de Vic.

The town is made up of its core, located in the valley of the Sant Martí Sescorts stream and built around the parish church that gives it its name.

And we see a whole series of farmhouses that are found along the ridges and valleys around it. In the images we see the fields after the harvest and the mists in the more mountainous areas.
