Snoop Dogg has managed to fool everyone. Last Thursday, the artist published a message on his social networks in which he made people believe that he stopped smoking his precious joints, but nothing like that. In reality, everything responded to an advertising collaboration with the Solo Stove brand, which sells electric braziers.

“After much consideration and conversation with my family, I have decided to quit smoking. Please respect my privacy at this time,” Snoop Dogg wrote last Thursday on his Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) account.

After its announcement, hundreds of comments were generated on social networks. Many of his followers questioned whether Snoop Dogg was going to give up marijuana. And they ended up getting it right.

The rapper confirmed Monday that the ad was part of a marketing strategy to promote the Solo Stove electric fire pits. “I’m done with the smoke. I’m going to quit the smoke with @solostove.

The brand takes advantage of its collaboration with Snoop Dogg. “Only Stove fixed the fire. They removed the smoke. I can sit next to that thing all night and it doesn’t even burn my eyes. Now I’m warm from my feet up, without smoke,” says the American in a press release sent by the company.

Solo Stove has taken advantage of the rapper’s momentum to launch a limited edition of electric braziers: “Introducing the Snoop stove: the stove hot enough to make the Doggfather run out of smoke.”
