Wax museums should be characterized by the precision and realism of their figures. The famous Madame Tussauds is a great example of this. However, not all museums share the same artistic or budgetary level. There are those who, in trying to achieve that ideal, end up creating exhibitions that seem more like a journey through a fever dream than a tribute to the famous.

In recent days, several images of the Krakow Wax Museum have been going viral. The reason is none other than the poor quality of its figures, which at the same time is the attraction of this place. They are so horrifying that no one who is in the Polish city wants to miss this Dantesque spectacle.

Basically, there are none that are good. The Spanish Royal Family is exasperating, the British one is even worse, the Harry Potter characters are horrible and the Avatar characters scare the Warren family. The entire museum is a unique spectacle.

Even so, the networks have their favorite. A Spanish user has shared a photo of the wax figure of Mick Jagger, the leader of the Rolling Stones, and has triumphed with the description he has made of the figure: “The Krakow wax museum has a Mick Jagger who looks like the “ugly of the Calatravas imitating Chiquito de la Calzada”.

Some users, upon seeing this figure, have decided that it is time to pay a visit to the Krakow Wax Museum to see these wonders in person: “This summer we are going.” Another has indicated that “it should be prohibited to expose them due to the shame of others” and has pointed out that “the authors should be kept incommunicado.”

Despite the criticism – which partly has some admiration for presenting these dolls as if nothing had happened -, the museum’s official website shows that they are quite proud of the work done: “All the wax figures are carefully crafted to offer the smallest detail and so that you can feel that they are really by your side.
