Sevilla made public a statement this morning indicating that it has reported to the Competition Committee of the Spanish Federation the Real Madrid TV video against the referee of this Sunday’s match at the Bernabéu, Isidro Díaz de Mera, and also against the referee who will be in the VAR, Pablo González Fuertes.
This is the statement from Sevilla:
“Sevilla FC wants to formally report these events to the federative bodies, in order to assess whether these events can be considered a violation of the General Regulations of the RFEF or any other regulations that apply to it.
The club also wishes to reiterate its strongest condemnation of these behaviors and orchestrated campaigns to undermine the image of the refereeing establishment, doing serious damage to Spanish football and calling into question the integrity of the competition. “The club reiterates its strongest condemnation of these behaviors and campaigns orchestrated to undermine the image of the refereeing establishment.”
It is common for Real Madrid TV to broadcast videos before each match in which it accuses the referees of making mistakes against the white club.
