One of those moments that are not forgotten for many young people who want to study a career begins. A total of 49,885 Andalusian students from Baccalaureate and Higher Vocational Training are examined on June 13, 14 and 15 of the Baccalaureate Assessment Test for University Access (PEvAU), former Selectividad, of this course. This volume of registrations represents 3.7% more than those carried out in the last academic year, when a total of 48,112 registrations were registered.

The University of Seville (US) is the one that has registered the most students enrolled: 11,048, which represents 22.15% of the total registered. In the Almería (UAL) 3,720 students (7.46%) will be examined, in the Cádiz (UCA) 7,218 (14.47%), in the Córdoba (UCO) 4,555 (9.13%), in the Granada (UGR) 6,692 (13.41%), in Huelva (UHU) 2,457 (4.93%), in Jaen (UJA) 3,527 (7.07%), in Malaga (UMA) 9,199 (18.44%) and Pablo de Olavide 1,469, with 2.94%. Regarding gender, of the 49,885 students, 29,666 are women and 20,219 men.

To accommodate these applicants, as indicated in a press release, the Andalusian Interuniversity Coordinating Commission, in charge of organizing this event, has selected 129 venues throughout Andalusia, including faculties, affiliated centers and Secondary Education Institutes, to host to more than a thousand educational centers summoned to the test.

Of the 129 venues arranged, 71 are located in municipalities of the different provinces and 58 are distributed throughout the Andalusian capitals.

Thus, the UAL has set up eight offices (one in the capital and seven in the province); the UCA, 16 (four in the capital and 12 in the province); the UCO, 25 (seven in the capital and 18 in the province); and the UGR, 23 (13 in the capital and ten in the province). To these venues we must add those planned in cities of Morocco, Ceuta and Melilla.

For its part, the UHU has arranged seven offices (six in the capital and one in the province); the UJA, eight (three in the capital and five in the province); the UMA, 18 (nine in the capital and nine in the province); the US, 23 (14 in the capital and nine in the province); and the UPO, a headquarters on its campus.

In accordance with the guidelines provided by the Ministries of Education and Universities, who are responsible for establishing the structure of the test at the national level, the evaluation will consist of a single proposal that will be made up of a greater number of questions in order to integrate the corresponding contents. to all the blocks of each subject and the students will be able to select which questions to answer.

The duration of the exams is maintained as in previous courses: 90 minutes for each of them, with a break between consecutive tests of at least 30 minutes. The evaluations will begin at 8:30 a.m. every day, although the student must already be present at their center of reference at 8:00 a.m. for the summons.

The structure of the evaluations does not change with respect to previous courses either. It will consist of two phases. The Access Phase, which is compulsory to pass in order to enter the university, consists of three compulsory subjects: Spanish Language and Literature, a Foreign Language (German, French, English, Italian or Portuguese) and History of Spain. To these are added a fourth modality discipline to choose from: Fundamentals of Art, Latin II, Mathematics II or Mathematics Applied to the Social Sciences.

The maximum mark that can be achieved in this phase is ten points and the score obtained, together with the average mark of the Baccalaureate record, make up the access mark that will be calculated by weighting 40% of the PEvAU mark and 60%. % of the final high school grade.

For its part, in the Admission Phase, which is voluntary to raise grades, students can be examined in up to four disciplines, although only the grade of the two most favorable for the chosen grade or grades will be computed. Any of the 24 subjects that make up the PEvAU are eligible, with the exception of Spanish Language and Spanish Literature and History.

You can also raise your grade by examining a second language other than the one in the Access Phase or using the score obtained in the modality subject of said phase if you have five or more points. Each subject weighs between 0 and 0.2, depending on the degree in which admission is requested. The maximum grade to be achieved in this phase is four points.

With the grade obtained, students will be able to apply for any of the degree places that will be offered in the Andalusian Single District (DUA) for the next academic year. Since last February, students can consult in the DUA exam guideline models that have helped them to know the development of the evaluation in this 2022 edition: lajunta.es/portaldua.

On the other hand, the subjects that are not common in most demand and of which a greater number of Andalusians will be examined are Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences II (20,691), Mathematics II (20,422 students), Chemistry (14,986), Biology (14,183) , Business Economics (12,382), History of Philosophy (10,858), Physics (7,403), Technical Drawing II (5,839), Latin II (4,182) and Geography (3,844).

Given the approach of the PEvAU, some students have chosen to take the exam in subjects that coincide with the schedule initially provided by the Andalusian Interuniversity Coordinating Commission, for which reason an alternative calendar has been established to resolve the 303 incompatibility situations registered throughout the community , which in one case is double.

The results of the PEvAU test will be published on June 22 on the web portals of each of the universities. That same day, starting at 12:00 noon, the period for submitting applications for access to degrees at Andalusian public universities will open, a period that will end on June 30 at 11:59 p.m.

To participate in the admission procedure, the Commission of the Single University District of Andalusia warns all students that it is necessary to submit the pre-registration request between June 22 and 30, even if it is suspended, in anticipation that after the appropriate reviews manage to pass the test.

As it is a so-called competitive bidding procedure, in which applications cannot be included after the established period, the computer program through which the application is submitted allows a score of less than five points to be recorded, which will be automatically updated when the university grants a new qualification, and if this is equal to or greater than five points, said request will be dealt with in the procedure with all rights.

The publication of the first allocation of places will take place on July 6. On this date, the registration, confirmation or reservation period will also begin, with a duration of five days, until July 10. The second adjudication will take place on July 14 and will last until the 17th and the third and last adjudication will be held on July 21 with a term that will end on the 24th.

As in previous years, pre-registration for access to the university will be carried out only electronically at the address (lajunta.es/portaldua), which is the direct link to the website of the Andalusian Single District. On this platform, those who have taken the tests at an Andalusian university do not have to present any documentation at their universities.
