Real Madrid will celebrate the League title this coming Sunday. In the morning the celebration will begin at the Valdebebas Sports City and Pedro Rocha – the new president of the RFEF – will present the league title to Real Madrid behind closed doors at the Sports City.
Immediately afterwards, the merengues will move to the Almudena to make the offering to the patron saint of the capital. Afterwards, they will visit the headquarters of the Community of Madrid and at noon they will close the institutional commitments at the Madrid City Hall.
The Madrid city council has announced that there will be total traffic cuts on many streets during the day of the celebration and gradual cuts on Saturday the 11th due to the infrastructure assembly work in the Plaza de Cibeles.
The Madrid City Council recommends the use of public transport for that day, avoiding circulation in private vehicles through the affected areas and using M30 and M40 for long-distance trips.
The achievement of LaLiga will not be celebrated at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, since the Upperground electronic music event is being held that same Sunday.
