The residents of the Paseo de la Habana and Padre Damián area are going to demonstrate again against the construction of the underground car park and the Bernabéu tunnel.

This is the seventh demonstration that they are going to carry out since they consider that the new infrastructures are going to bring to the neighborhood “more noise and air pollution, as well as mobility and security problems,” reports Telemadrid.

Some residents have also hung posters on the windows that say “no to the tunnel” to make it clear to the Administration and more specifically to the council that they are against such works.

A total of 33 communities of owners, three affected schools and residents of different car parks for residents are summoned tomorrow to demonstrate against the new infrastructure around the Real Madrid stadium. In addition, the shops in the area and the restaurants will see how their sales can drop due to the difficulties in accessing the area while the works last.
