Maritime Rescue personnel have rescued 22 migrants on the Almería coast, specifically in the waters of Cabo de Gata, on Monday morning, March 27.

Of the 22 migrants who were traveling in a motorized inflatable boat, 20 are of North African origin. Among them were two minors. The other two are of Syrian origin, as reported by Maritime Rescue.

A merchant was the one who alerted about the situation. Teams from Salvamar Spica immediately moved, which located the boat around 11:30 p.m. this past Sunday.

The migrants were transferred to the Port of Almería capital and arrived at 3:15 a.m., all in good health.
