Rapper Morad has entered Brians 2 prison to serve a 6-month sentence for a traffic crime, as prison sources have explained to ACN. The artist entered the prison voluntarily this afternoon.
The rapper has had several episodes of confrontation with the police and justice over issues related to traffic. On some occasions he has been arrested for not responding to court summons for crimes against traffic safety and on other occasions for driving without a license.
It should be remembered that at the end of February the artist accepted a two-year prison sentence for the incidents that occurred during the recording of a video clip in 2021 in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
On that occasion, the rapper faced seven years in prison for inciting public disorder and aggravated attack with a dangerous instrument. The Prosecutor’s Office and Morad’s lawyer reached a prior agreement and the trial was not held.
The highly qualified extenuating circumstance of repairing the damage was applied to the rapper by having consigned the 2,400 euros in civil liability requested by the public ministry.
The amount corresponded to the damage suffered by six Urban Police vehicles, at which several individuals threw eggs and stones.
