The French attacker Kylian Mbappé has not been summoned by Luis Enrique for the tour that PSG will carry out starting this weekend in Japan, which will have stops in the Japanese cities of Osaka and Tokyo, as reported by the Parisian club tonight.
The absence of the international, of which no details are offered, definitively opens the exit door for the player, who according to the club’s president, Naser al Jelaifi, must renew or leave this summer.
As published by L’Equipe, the French club believes that Mbappé, whose contract ends in 2024, would currently have an agreement with Real Madrid to leave free at the end of the next season and that, furthermore, internally he would have announced his decision not to exercise the option to renew his contract.
With this decision, Mbappé would not leave a single euro in the coffers of the Parisian club, which, by leaving him off the list for the Japanese tour, would put pressure on his player to cause his departure this summer with the aim of paying an economic amount for his transfer.
The one who has been called up by Luis Enrique for the four games that PSG will play in the Japanese country is Mbappé’s brother, Ethan, who is only 16 years old. In total, 29 players have entered the Asturian coach’s list.
Curiously, Mbappé has played the Parisian team’s first pre-season game. Although he has not started, he has played the last 25 minutes of the match against Le Havre, enough time to seal his team’s 2-0 victory with a goal in the 90th minute.
