One person dead and another wounded is the first balance of a shooting this Thursday at the last minute in a bar in the Sant Roc neighborhood in Badalona. The Mossos d’Esquadra have confirmed to the ACN agency that there has been a fatality and one person injured in an “incident”, although at the moment they are not talking about shots. However, testimonial sources have explained to ACN that the events took place in the Serie 1 Bar Dominicano, located at Avenida Marquès de Mont-roig 179. The dead person is the owner of the establishment and the injured would be the daughter of the owner of the bar, as published by the local media Tot Badalona. The alleged perpetrator of the shots has fled on a motorcycle.

A neighbor of the building where the incident took place told the Catalan News Agency (ACN) that shortly after eleven he heard three shots. Mossos and the Catalan Emergency Service (SEM) have gone to the scene. At about 11:30 p.m., a wounded man was taken out of the premises on a stretcher and taken to the Germans Trias hospital in Badalona.

Other witnesses who were on the premises have explained that the shooter entered the premises with a motorcycle helmet on, fired and immediately fled. Some neighbors also explain that it is a controversial bar where there have been fights, arguments and some stabbings before.

According to various local media reports, the Mossos d’Esquadra are investigating the facts that would be related to a rematch.
