A person has died as a result of a fire this Sunday in two caravans parked in the Mont-Redons area of ??Flix (Tarragona), in one of which the victim was.

As reported this Monday by the Fire Department of the Generalitat, the emergency department received a notice at around 10:40 p.m. and went to the scene, where they found a fully developed fire and were informed of the possible presence of a person in the interior of one of the caravans.

The displaced troops, with two water vehicles and one command vehicle with the deputy chief of territorial coordination, proceeded to extinguish the fire that burned two caravans, various adjacent wooden structures and butane bottles, which had active leaks with fire in the overpressure valve.

At 11:11 p.m., the Firefighters considered the fire stabilized and began the search for the victim, who was found dead inside one of the caravans.

The Mossos d’Esquadra have taken charge of the investigation to elucidate the causes of the fire, and this Monday the removal of the body and subsequent work to identify the victim were carried out.

The Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) sent a ground unit to the scene of the incident, and a doctor from the Primary Care Center (CAP) also arrived at the scene, without them having to provide any assistance.
