One dead after officer-involved shooting at Flowood apartment complex

FLOWOOD, Miss. (WLBT) – One person is dead after an officer-involved shooting at a Flowood apartment complex. The incident took place at Shadow Lake Apartments on Park Circle Drive on Tuesday afternoon, where authorities responded to a report of a burglary. According to officials, the suspect was shot and killed by officers at the scene. Fortunately, no officers sustained serious injuries during the incident.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has been called in to investigate the shooting at the apartment complex.
