The Mossos have arrested a 27-year-old man of Albanian nationality who was in charge of 2,400 marijuana plants in Sant Miquel de Campmajor (Pla Estany). The detainee camped next to the fields to monitor the drug along with two other people-

This Thursday, June 8, the mossos began the operation first thing in the morning. They learned of a plantation between Serinyà and Sant Miquel de Campmajor and an investigation began that ended with a police intervention at 6:30 in the morning. The agents verified that next to the plant terraces there was a space where three people slept, in a cabin made of wood and plastic sheeting.

Seeing the police, the three responsible for guarding the plantation fled, but the Mossos managed to catch one of them. The other two managed to escape taking advantage of the fact that it was a wooded area.

The police found up to 2,400 marijuana plants in three different stands as well as tools and everything necessary to grow the drug. Agents from Citizen Security, Investigation and the Regional Operational Resources Area (ARRO) of the Mossos will participate in the operation.

The investigation remains open and the two other plantation guards who escaped are being sought. The detainee is expected to go to court in the next few hours.
