This morning on the beach of Gavà, in the Baix Llobregat, I was able to capture for Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia this beautiful image of the plane flying over the boat, with the photographer capturing the beautiful postcard from the shore.
The light also stands out in the image, in a cloudy dawn marked by the promise of another morning of rain, as has happened in the Barcelona area.
And the color of the sky between the clouds also stands out, a reddish-orange tone due to the brightness of the first moments of the day. As light passes through the clouds, it illuminates them and could be said to color them with those tones.
As part of the phenomenon of dispersion of sunlight, in the morning hours, when the sun is closer to the horizon, the light that reaches the Earth is soft tones between red and orange.
During this meteorological phenomenon, the clouds in the sky show a wide palette of colors ranging from pink to the most intense orange. In this case, everything was nuanced by a morning that predicted rain.
The image also exemplifies the incessant maritime and air traffic over the Mediterranean Sea, which keeps the port and Barcelona airport as two of the most used infrastructures in southern Europe.
