Residents at NYCHA’s Coney Island Houses and Unity Towers in Brooklyn have until Thursday, August 15th to vote on the funding model for their development. In-person voting is available at specified locations with extended hours on the last day of voting.

On Tuesday, August 13th, the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on various properties. Additionally, the Department of Housing, Preservation and Development and the NYC Commission on Human Rights will host an informational workshop on fair housing laws at the Bronx Library Center.

The NYC Council’s Finance Committee will vote on two land use applications, including a proposed pedestrian plaza in the Bronx’s Morris Park neighborhood on Thursday, August 15th.
