Más Madrid resolutely supports the Second Vice President and Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, in her probable decision to contest the presidency of the Government and her candidates in the Madrid regional and municipal elections, Mónica García and Rita Maestre, respectively, will attend the official presentation of the Sumar platform convened on April 2.
Two weeks after this event, which will be held at the Magariños sports center in Madrid, and after speaking in Congress to reply to the Vox candidate in the motion of censure, Ramón Tamames, Díaz has received the support of the two Más Madrid candidates to be done on May 28 with the Madrid regional government and the Mayor’s Office.
In separate Twitter messages, both Mónica García and Rita Maestre have praised Yolanda Díaz’s speech and have confirmed that they will attend Sumar’s presentation on April 2.
“The motion of no confidence makes two things clear: that the right is hiding behind gentlemen and abstentions and that brave women like Yolanda Díaz have a lot to say. On April 2 I will accompany her to promote the policies of a country that looks to the future” , has highlighted the regional spokesperson for Más Madrid and candidate for the Community, Mónica García.
For her part, Maestre has described Díaz’s speech as “enormous”, which shows, she has written on her Twitter profile, that “the future goes hand in hand with brave women like her. On April 2 I will be accompanying her and giving her strength to continue promoting a project that is up to the next country”.
