Montse Tomé, the new coach of the Spanish Women’s National Team, replacing Jorge Vilda, will be presented this Friday at 4:00 p.m. in the Luis Aragonés room at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas and will later offer her first list of internationals called up for the first two days of the UEFA Nations League.

The interest is in knowing whether that list will include the world champion international players who resigned from the national team last month as long as there were no changes in the Federation’s ranks. Since that statement was made, less than a month ago, Luis Rubiales and Jorge Vilda have left the Federation, but it is unknown what the position of the internationals called will be.

The Federation, for its part, hides behind the fact that all the players are eligible, regardless of whether or not they have communicated their intention to play for the national team. In this sense, Montse Tomé could make the list that she thought was most convenient for the games to be played.

Spain will face Sweden far from our borders and will face Switzerland in Córdoba. They will be two crucial duels in the inauguration of this new tournament, as it will serve as qualification for the next Olympic Games. After her official presentation and her first list, the woman from Oviedo will attend to the media at the federation headquarters.
