After a worker at the Oeanografic in Valencia denounced that, after being invited as a diner in an outdoor test of ‘Masterchef’, she had gastroenteritis that prevented her from going to work the next day, the producer of the RTVE program has sent La Vanguardia a statement in which it exposes its position.

“From MasterChef we are very sorry for the indisposition expressed by some of the diners who attended the recording of our exterior in Valencia, with whom they were in contact at all times through the Oceanogràfic, as they were company personnel. This is an absolutely exceptional case in these 11 years of ‘MasterChef’ in Spain, a program where it is an absolute priority to guarantee the food care of the people involved, ”the statement said.

In addition, it is stated that “outside Valencia, the food was analyzed at source with positive results and its traceability was guaranteed throughout the process, as reported and documented to the competent health authorities when we became aware of the facts.”

The events took place on January 19 and, after the recent broadcast on RTVE’s La 1 of the program that contained this outdoor test, the worker decided to make a Twitter thread in which she explained what happened and added a photograph of her and their companions while they ate. ”At the table are four of my companions and me. All with gastroenteritis. The next night I had to go to the ER to get Primperan injected into my butt so I could stop vomiting. I lost five kilos in three days”.
