At the source of the River Ter, in the Camprodon valley, the drought is also noticeable, since it is perceptible that there is little water, as can be seen in this report in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

The source of the Ter river begins in the Carlat valley, specifically, at the height of the ruins of the Refugi Vell. In the middle of this high mountain landscape of extensive alpine meadows is also the beautiful and new Ulldeter refuge, built by the Center Excursionista de Catalunya.

To get to the Ulldeter refuge from Ripoll, take the C-151 to Camprodon, continue along the GIV-5264 to Setcases and, from this town, continue to the Vallter 2000 alpine ski resort.

These images take us to 2480 meters of altitude, at the foot of a glacial cirque in the Pyrenean region of Ripollès, very close to the town of Setcases.

In Vallter we find a territory rich in fauna, flora, culture and even historical heritage. The River Ter is a guide that leads us through the landscape.
