While they were being searched for by sea, the Queen, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía have appeared on land. This Friday, mother and daughters have shared a few hours with a group of boys and girls with functional diversity who are attending a workshop at a school farm located on the outskirts of Palma.

The visit was made known through the Instagram account @granjaescolajovent, which posted a series of photos on its account with the following text: “Today we received a surprise visit from the queen and her daughters, Leonor and Sofía. They have verified the work of integration and coexistence that we do with girls and boys with functional diversity and all the love we put into our Escola Jovent Farm. It has been great! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming to know about our project and sharing our sustainable educational perspective. Come back soon!”

During their visit, Letizia, Leonor and Sofía have been able to see first-hand the work of integration and coexistence carried out by the Palma social cooperative. La Granja Escola Jovent was born in 1997 at the initiative of a group of instructors from the Esplai Jovent club who ventured to restore an old farmhouse located in the Son Castelló industrial estate, on the outskirts of Palma, with the aim of creating a school farm so that children and young people had the opportunity to learn how people lived in the past, the importance of nature and the care of animals and learn cultural aspects in an experiential way.
