This Tuesday, Queen Letizia earned the appreciation of a group of tractor drivers who received her on the side of the access road to the Matacán airport in Salamanca, where she arrived early in the morning to preside over the events of the Tour. of Talent, convened by the Princess of Girona Foundation. From the car, which has slowed her pace, the Queen has lowered the window and, with her hand, has greeted those gathered.
The group, made up of twenty-five farmers, wearing reflective vests, stood on the shoulder of a roundabout leading to the airport and applauded her as the Queen’s motorcade passed by. A banner had been placed on one of the tractors that read: “Doña Letizia, please, a wink for the Spanish primary sector.”
The Queen is in Salamanca to preside over the central event of the Talent Tour and, after her arrival, before traveling to the Center for Performing Arts and Music (CAEM) where the Princess of Girona Art 2024 will be awarded, she visited the exhibition about the writer from Salamanca Carmen Martín Gaite (1925-2000) at the International Center of Spanish (CIE).
For her visit to Salamanca, the Queen has chosen: a camel-colored coat from Carolina Herrera and a greenish dress from the Dándara brand.
