King Juan Carlos has arrived this Tuesday afternoon by car at the Stamford Bridge stadium, in the city of London, to see the return match between Chelsea and Real Madrid in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

The former head of state attends the football clash a few hours before he returns to Spain, in what will be his second visit since he moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in August 2020.

As it happened the first time, King Juan Carlos will land in Vigo, from where he will travel to Sanxenxo, where he is expected to remain until Sunday. However, unlike a year ago, it does not seem that a family reunion in Madrid is planned. At least, in the official agenda of the Kings there is no event of this type. As Europa Press has learned, the arrival of the emeritus at the Peinador airport, in Vigo, will take place at 12:00 on Wednesday.

King Juan Carlos was already in the capital of England where last night he went to an exclusive club along with several other people, as reported by the Daily Mail newspaper, which has published several images.

Felipe VI’s father also visited the Oswald club, located in the center of the British capital and whose select members include Queen Camilla, Prince William and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Likewise, it had been pointed out that King Juan Carlos was going to have a private lunch with Carlos III, to whose coronation on May 6 he is not expected to attend, although the British Embassy in Madrid refused this point.
