Jersey City pre-K class celebrates Black History Month by dressing up (PHOTOS)

Mini versions of Frederick Douglass, Rosa Parks and Oprah Winfrey marched on Ocean Avenue in Jersey City Thursday.

The pre-K tykes were not protesting, but they were celebrating those who did. The child care center Gobahis students dressed as historically important African-Americans.

The students and staff, as well as some parents joined in and carried signs describing some of the civil rights leaders to pay tribute during Black History Month.
