Elegant and captivating. Jane Fonda stepped onto the Cannes red carpet as the new queen of the 77th edition of the film festival at 86 years old. The actress captured all eyes with a black suit and a long animal print coat in a more than evident demonstration that glamor has no age.

Fonda walked on the red carpet, which kicked off last Tuesday, May 14, wearing a suit-like jumpsuit with floral and rhinestone embroidery at torso height, custom-made by the Elie Saab brand. A style that she finished off with sparkling Pomellato jewelry to match her high-heeled shoes.

But what most fascinated the photographers and the audience was the powerful beauty look worn by the model and L’Oréal ambassador. A purer Old Hollywood look with which she enhanced her natural beauty.

Dark and silver shadows on the eyes, satin-looking skin, light blush on the cheeks and perfectly outlined lips of passionate red. As for her hairstyle, the actress wore her hair natural with a rejuvenating layered cut with waves and side-swept bangs.

Jane Fonda arrived at the festival’s opening ceremony for the screening of the French film Le Deuxieme Acte (The Second Act). The Cannes Film Festival will end on May 25.
