Isabel Pantoja has reached an out-of-court agreement with Dolores del Pozo, the newsstand to whom the singer owed 76,000 euros. This Thursday the singer’s lawyer has presented a written agreement between the parties to avoid the trial 24 hours before the expiration of the deadline that the defense had to answer del Pozo’s demand.

There were two acts of conciliation prior to the prosecution of the matter by the already famous newsstand, but neither Isabel nor any legal representative appeared at them.

That money, del Pozo’s life savings, he lent to the singer to try to avoid his going to prison. The old woman with few resources did not hesitate to lend her idol, with whom she had a decades-long friendship, her savings, 86,000 euros, but almost a decade later the singer had only returned 10,000 euros.

As the old woman herself has revealed in various interviews, it was Agustín Pantoja who promised her that this money would be returned when possible, but that has not happened. Due to the affection that has united the singer for many years, Dolores del Pozo has tried to get the money back in another way, but, exhausted all other avenues, she had to file a lawsuit.

“I no longer have anything to talk about with her. Now it is my lawyer and the justice system that have to speak,” the old woman said a few days ago. “I’m having a very bad time. I didn’t expect to get to this situation, it’s very hard and painful. I’m convinced that justice will agree with me and that one day it will pay the debt. I don’t want to die without getting paid,” she added then.

“It was a very healthy, very beautiful friendship, for many years. I don’t know the change it has given. What hurts me is that I don’t exist at all. Without any reason, or for any reason. It is the most deceitful great and the greatest pain that I have been able to have,” del Pozo also said.
