The new television season is warming up for a month of September, which seems to be one of the closest between the two big chains in our country. One of the great assets of Antena 3 is the return of El Hormiguero with its eighteenth season, unbeatable as far as the audience is concerned.

However, Pablo Motos has come up with a tough competitor, Jorge Javier Vázquez y su Cuentos Chinos, the new Telecinco program that aims to gain viewers from the consolidated Antena 3 Television format. And, as the battle is arduous, as Look progresses, the Valencian will have a first luxury guest: Isabel Pantoja.

In the last hours, we have been able to see on social networks how Pablo Motos toasted together with several of his best-known collaborators from El Hormiguero for the return of a new season of the program to Antena 3 Televisión.

The Valencian, accompanied by Marron, Juan Ibáñez and Damián Mollá (the well-known ants) raised their glasses of beer and, looking at the camera, released a euphoric “friends, season 18 of El Hormiguero begins here. It’s coming for you!” Of course, what is not yet known is whether the start will be on Monday, September 4 or, conversely, on Monday, September 11.

What has transpired for the moment is who would be the first star to return to El Hormiguero to have fun. As Look progresses, everything seems to indicate that Isabel Pantoja will be the ace up the sleeve that Pablo Motos saves for that first program of his 18th season.

And it is that, remember that the Valencian has come up with a tough competitor, Jorge Javier Vázquez. Chinese Tales is Telecinco’s new commitment to entertainment in access prime time and the return of the Catalan to the first line after several months away from the small screen.

He will not do it alone, but accompanied by such well-known faces as the reporter Susi Caramelo, two former Sálvame collaborators, German González and Josep Ferrer, as well as the actress Anabel Alonso and the police officer Celia Villalobos.

However, if Isabel Pantoja becomes the undisputed guest for that first season start of El Hormiguero, she could sweep the audience and stop Jorge Javier Vázquez from taking off. Just point out that the interview with the tonadillera at the end of January 2017, in his first television appearance after going to prison, resulted in a 23.8% audience share and 4.8 million viewers.
