INDIA Bloc Predicted to Win All 5 Seats in J&K, J&K Congress Dismisses Exit Polls as Psychological Trick

Jammu, June 03: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) held a meeting on Monday to discuss the upcoming Lok Sabha election results and to address the exit polls that have predicted a significant victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA. Chaired by JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani, the meeting included prominent leaders such as Working President Raman Bhalla and Senior Vice President Ravinder Sharma.

The JKPCC leaders outright rejected the exit poll results, labeling them as a psychological ploy to sway public opinion in favor of the BJP. Wani expressed doubts about the credibility of the agencies conducting the polls and emphasized that the youth are prepared to make sacrifices for the country’s future.

According to Wani, internal surveys conducted by the party indicate that the INDIA bloc is poised to secure all five seats in Jammu and Kashmir. He called for heightened security measures to protect the agents of opposition parties during the counting process, alleging that the BJP may resort to intimidation tactics.

Raman Bhalla highlighted the promises made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the coalition he represents, focusing on issues such as job creation and reforms in the armed forces. He also noted the significant number of postal ballots cast in this election, suggesting a potential shift in voter sentiment.

The party’s chief spokesperson emphasized the importance of vigilance during the counting process and called for clear guidelines from the election commission to ensure transparency and fairness.

As the anticipation builds ahead of the election results, the JKPCC remains confident in the INDIA bloc’s prospects in Jammu and Kashmir, setting the stage for a contentious outcome on June 04.
