I am sharing in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia this photographic series about the City of Justice by David Chipperfield Architects

The series was made during more than a year of photographic shots from different angles, with different lighting and weather conditions. Which at times was complicated as well as exciting, but I finally managed to finish it with a satisfactory result.

It is made up of seven photographs that combine my own style where I want to show and bring closer the wonderful architecture that we have in our beloved Barcelona, ??a world reference.

As fate would have it, he was finally able to finish it in February 2023 and a few days later the great news broke that Chipperfield had been awarded that same year with the 2023 Pritzker Architecture Prize, the highest global award given to an architect.

It is a set of eight blocks of concrete buildings around a public square, where the color, the volumes, the geometry make the whole a harmonious result, with an incredibly beautiful and delicious visual result.

I have played with perspectives showing the complex from different angles, volumes and with different compositions, ranging from the visual proposal of a single building, two, three and even four buildings at a time.

As a curiosity, the eight different tones (green, smoke, reddish, earth, ocher, yellow, orange, gray) of the facades were obtained by pigmenting their mass from iron oxide, with the exception of the green tones that are based on iron, chromium oxide.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do doing this photographic work. On September 23 she received an Honorable Mention in the prestigious International Minimalist Photography Awards 2023 Competition.
