The small exotic baby bird that appeared lost in the Pedralbes monastery in Barcelona a few days ago already has a foster family after an appeal was made through La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.
The first impression is that the little bird could have gotten lost. It could also have been abandoned. The intention was that, if photographs of this beautiful bird were shown, someone would recognize it and go look for it if it was theirs.
After the call was published with the photos of this showy bird, several people were interested in adopting it. Finally, it didn’t take long to find a home.
A museum worker at the Pedralbes monastery decided to adopt him as one of her family and immediately gave him a name: Otto.
So little Otto’s adventure has had a happy ending, since he has found a home where he is cared for and does not lack food and where he already feels delighted and comforted by a family.
