José Luis Gayà, Valencia’s international left back, was injured in training prior to Spain’s only friendly match before the Qatar 2022 World Cup, in Amman, and his presence in the World Cup is in danger due to a sprained ankle law.

According to the medical part of the medical services of the Spanish team, Gayà suffers a “diagnostic hypothesis of a low-grade lateral sprain in the right ankle.” It is the first diagnosis, in the absence of an MRI that will be performed on the player once the inflammation in the area subsides over the hours.
