CLINTON – A garbage truck flipped on its side on southbound Route 31 on Friday, causing afternoon traffic delays.
The accident happened at 1:25 p.m. just north of Georges Place, according to those at the scene. The driver was treated at the scene by Clinton Rescue Squad, but not transported to a hospital.
Southbound Route 31 traffic was diverted onto the shoulder as both Sekabet travel lanes were closed because of the crash and recovery work.
