From the monkey of Sant Llorenç del Munt to the frog eggs of the Vall d’en Bas… In the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can see a summary of ten curious images, of complaints or with a message collected this week in El Reader Mailbox.

In Sant Llorenç del Munt we have a monkey that watches over us and I guess he doesn’t want to be Homo Sapiens.

Isn’t it nice? It looks like a lamp, right? Well no, it’s a tree with the sun above. It is the only beautiful thing I have seen in Parc Taulí, since between works and renovations they are destroying everything.

On Rambla del Poblenou, at the height of Tànger Street, the pruning of the palm trees has begun by the Parks and Gardens of our town hall.

It is not only an aesthetic measure, but also a safety measure. The nests of gray parrots, weighing more than 80 kg, dangerously unbalance the crowns of the palm trees. Its fall is neither anecdotal nor trivial, it can cause damage to people and the terraces of establishments. Its maintenance is mandatory.

I share this image taken on Sunday the 11th on Passeig Lluís Companys in Barcelona, ??next to the popular Arc de Triomf, where thousands of people have gathered to travel the 21,097 kilometers corresponding to half a marathon in a very cosmopolitan environment. .

The good weather and the enthusiasm of the participants made for a great day, but as we see it was only half of the party. At the end, dozens of workers worked hard to make the popular ride look as always, eliminating the remains of the refreshment stations typical of a popular race.

This 34th edition has undoubtedly been very busy and the cleaning teams have once again been at the level of the athletes, dozens of vehicles and operators have gotten to work, as soon as the last runners have arrived.

The cleaning of the waste generated by the large concentrations is undoubtedly the most forgotten, yesterday the workers who made it possible for the other side of the race to be run at full speed and against the clock were also worthy of medals.

Photographing often gives us the opportunity to capture the detail, that temporary moment that goes unnoticed, but deserves to be immortalized, a luxury to be able to share it.

We can see the Plaça de la Vila after the Vilanova i la Geltrú candy war.

I have captured this photograph of a tornado-shaped cloud in the sky of Igualada, in Anoia.

I have captured this snapshot of this urban art exhibition in the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona.

In the Port of Tarragona we are already on par and surpassing the famous Puerto Banús in large yachts. At the time of taking this photograph it was full of citizens enjoying the sun and the restaurants. Everything packed to the brim. Something must be happening.

I share these photographs taken on the streets of Madrid, in which you can see how some bollards on the sidewalk (and billboards on the walls) give food for thought.

We already have spring here with the color of the fields in the Vall d’en Bas, as well as frog eggs that, if it does not rain, will not arrive.
