Five children have been injured in Toledo when the bouncy castle in which they were playing was blown away by the strong wind. The injured were taken to the University Hospital of the city. Throughout the night, four of them have been discharged, and only one of the injured children has been hospitalized, under observation, although it is not ruled out that he will be discharged in the next few hours.
According to EFE sources from the 112 emergency service, the event occurred at around 8:37 p.m. this Friday in the training field attached to the Salto del Caballo stadium, where a children’s celebration was taking place.
In the celebration there were different attractions, including a bouncy castle that was blown away by the wind, which caused injuries to the five minors.
One of them, aged 10, was evacuated to the Toledo University Hospital by a mobile ICU, while another, aged 11, was transferred by a basic life support (SVB) ambulance and the remaining three were taken by their parents to the hospital.
Four of the five injured have been discharged from hospital overnight, while the 10-year-old boy is still in the hospital under observation, although it is likely that he will also be discharged in the next few hours, sources have explained to EFE of the Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha (Sescam).
In addition to the health services, agents of the National Police and the Toledo Local Police traveled to the scene of the event, the 112 has indicated.
