Espanyol has presented its three shirts for the coming season with Adriana Martín, Sergi Gómez, Gori and Nico Melamed as exceptional models. The club has signed an agreement with Kelme Sports for the next 4 years. The company, dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of sportswear, will dress the team next season with designs that recall moments in the club’s history.
As the first kit, RCD Espanyol will wear the traditional blue and white colours, but with a novelty that is reminiscent of the one the club used in the 2001-2002 season. We find a combination of two blues that achieve an effect in which the stripes are blurred, renewing and updating the classic design.
The second kit is in a color with a special meaning for the perica fans: pink. “Our fans love pink. Its combination with black reminds us all of the 2006-2007 UEFA Cup”, explains Antoni Alegre, the Club’s Marketing and Commercial Director. In this case, two shades of pink are mixed showing speed and tension. Finally, the third kit takes us to the 110th anniversary.
The novelty for the 2022-2023 season is also a special edition for the goalkeeper shirts that incorporates the scapular from the mythical shirt of Ricardo Zamora, possibly the first and greatest player in the history of RCD Espanyol. In this way, the parakeet goalkeepers will be dressed just like the ‘Divine’.
The Kelme kit designs will have the logos of the sponsors: Riviera Maya on the chest, Reale Seguros on the left sleeve and DIGI on the back of the shirt; and Crypto SNACK in the pants
