A total of eight people have been affected after the fire in a house registered at dawn this Tuesday in Huelva capital, of which two have required hospitalization, as reported by Emergencies 112.

Minutes before 4:30 a.m., residents alerted 112 of a fire in a house located on the fourth floor of a seven-story block on Isla Cristina street, in which they indicated that there were people trapped who could not get out By the smoke.

Mobilized by the coordination room, members of the Fire Department, the National Police and the Local Police have moved to the place, requesting the health services to attend to several neighbors affected by smoke inhalation.

The services of the 061 Health Emergencies Center have treated eight people, of whom no further information has been disclosed. Two of them have required transfer to a hospital. Firefighters have reported that the fire started in a room on the fourth floor and spread through the rest of the house.

The houses from the fourth to the seventh floor have been affected by smoke, which is why several neighbors have had to be evacuated and others confined to their homes, according to sources from the Fire and Rescue Service. The houses from the first to the third floor have not been affected. For now, the causes of the fire have not been disclosed.
