Driving away the drought at full speed

I have captured these images for The Readers’ Photos of La Vanguardia between Malla and Vic, where I have portrayed the Rodalies train among the beautiful fields that appreciate the rain in the Plana de Vic.

It is a railway convoy of the R3 line that goes from L’Hospitalet de Llobregat to Puigcerdà and also to the French town of Latour-de-Carol.

Apart from the beautiful fields, we also see the Eastern Pyrenees in the background still covered in snow, in the middle of May, which is good news to alleviate the drought.

We also see an image of the beautiful fields and another of Mount Puigmal, in Alta Cerdanya. It is the second highest mountain in the province of Girona, at 2914 meters, and is located on the border of Spain with France.

Located between the municipalities of Queralbs (Ripollès) and Err (Alta Cerdanya, Eastern Pyrenees), the Puigmal is the highest of the peaks that make up the so-called Gran Olla that surrounds the Vall de Núria.
