Wax figures are, possibly, one of the largest contingents that celebrities and ordinary users have to face. Rarely are remotely reasonable similarities found, ending with true aberrations that would make more than one’s hair stand on end. However, as the years go by the technique improves and the results are more positive. As is the case of the renowned chef Dabiz Muñoz.

The Madrid chef, head of DiverXO, inaugurated his own statue at the Madrid Wax Museum this Tuesday. He has been accompanied on this anniversary by his wife, the model and presenter Cristina Pedroche, with whom he recently celebrated his eighth wedding anniversary. The figure was dressed in his main symbols of identity: the DiverXO uniform and his unique crest in his hair.

Likewise, the wax image sticks out its tongue and shows the horns typical of heavy metal fans, in a gesture that Muñoz himself wanted to imitate for the public present at the ceremony. Another who has not been able to emulate the gestures of imitation has been Miki Nadal, a friend of the couple and Pedroche’s co-worker since they both coincided in I know what you did. He has even styled his hair to mimic the chef’s mohawk.

In this way, Dabiz Muñoz already has a wax figure with his wife, who has also posed with his wife to immortalize the moment. This recreation shows the woman from Madrid with one of her striking presentation dresses for the New Year’s Eve Bells. On that particular occasion, the floral uniform that he wore in 2019 was used, being one of the most notable at the Madrid Wax Museum. The couple took the opportunity to take another photo, this time together with the recreation.

However, not everything has been positive news for the couple, who already have a daughter together, in recent months. At the beginning of September, the debts carried by the Pig Wings holding company, owned by the chef, were discovered, valued at three million euros. Losses that almost cost them the dissolution of the company and endless headaches on an economic and professional level. Despite this, there was a light at the end of the tunnel.

At the time, Pedro Sánchez’s government approved an accounting amnesty to help companies that had been severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. An amnesty that Pig Wings took advantage of in order to save his monetary problems. The measure will allow Muñoz and other businessmen not to have the need to correct any type of equity imbalance until the end of 2024.
