The mayor of Barcelona and BComú candidate in the municipal elections, Ada Colau, resumes her agenda this Friday after testing negative for covid, municipal sources have reported.
Colau will attend this Friday at noon the traditional vermouth in the La Boqueria market with the candidates for mayor of the city Jaume Collboni (PSC), Ernest Maragall (ERC), Xavier Trias (Junts), Anna Grau (Cs), Daniel Sirera (PP) and Eva Parera (Valents).
Colau canceled his schedule on Tuesday “by medical criteria” when presenting symptoms of said disease, municipal sources explained.
In June 2022, the mayoress was infected with covid for the first time, with mild symptoms, which prevented her from presiding over the plenary session of the City Council and led her to hand over that function to her then first deputy mayor, the socialist Jaume Collboni.
