In the Sant Llorenç del Munt massif the first mushrooms are already sprouting, as we see in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia.
With the rain and the heat there are favorable conditions for fungi such as the meadow mushroom or camperol. These are times, then, to go to the mountains to mushroom.
This peasant mushroom has a cap from 6 to 10 cm in diameter. It is hemispherical, convex and then flattened, with a silky, fibrillating white cuticle that is easily separable.
It has a short, thick, cylindrical foot, somewhat thickened at the base. Smooth white, with a simple white membranous ring.
This edible mushroom has firm, compact, thick, white flesh, although it is faintly colored when cut. It has a sweet taste and a pleasant smell.
