The Second Vice President and Minister of Social Services, Equality and Housing, Susana Camarero, has criticized that the problem of immigration “is not a priority” for the central government after the cancellation of the Sectoral Migration Conference scheduled for tomorrow, Monday.

The Second Vice President and Minister of Social Services, Equality and Housing has indicated that this cancellation “shows, once again, that the Ministry avoids giving explanations to the Autonomous Communities in the face of an issue as serious as the migratory crisis and highlights that lacks a State response.”

In a statement, Susana Camarero has urged the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration to begin offering “timely and transparent information” on issues such as the number of unaccompanied minors who are being transferred to the Valencian Community.

Finally, the second vice president and Minister of Social Services, Equality and Housing has asked the central Government to “put aside the excuses, and inform the Autonomous Communities once and for all” since “we continue to ignore certain issues that are essential to be able to organize resources and offer migrants who are being transferred to the Valencian Community the attention they deserve.”
