The Local Police of Elda arrested an individual last night as the alleged perpetrator of a fire that started late in the afternoon on Mount Bateig. Police officers moved to the area after receiving a call on 112 at around 8 pm alerting of a fire with several outbreaks.
Local Police officers were informed by several witnesses that the fire had started in several points and that they had seen flashlights in the area. Approximately an hour later, local police officers detected a suspicious person nearby, who was taken to the police station to identify him and take a statement. The arrested person was detained when it was found that he had a history of similar acts.
