Andy and Lucas, one of the most successful duos in Spanish music, have come to La Resistencia to review their musical career, which is about to end. “Unfortunately it is true, we retired. Let’s rest and recover a little health and we’ll see what happens later,” Lucas said.
Before this goodbye takes place, the couple is touring Spain and will later tour all of Europe to say goodbye to international stages. In addition to talking about their retirement, they have shared an anecdote that happened during their stay in Barcelona and with a rap star involved: Eminem.
While they were in the lobby of a hotel, they witnessed a situation with a young woman in a wheelchair who was being ignored by the rapper. “We were having a ball in the hall and we saw a girl in a wheelchair crying. She was trying to get Eminem’s attention, but he didn’t respond, so I told him ‘you stupid’, and he said ‘you are a motherfucker,'” Lucas recounted the incident.
The confrontation escalated quickly between Lucas and the rapper, which caused the security of both artists to intervene so that the incident did not escalate. “A Mosso d’Esquadra came in and separated us. “Me for defending the girl,” the Cádiz artist justified.
However, the story went further, as the duo discovered that the girl was a liar and was only in a wheelchair to make herself feel sad and to have a better chance of getting closer to Eminem. “When I turned around and saw the empty wheelchair, the girl had run away,” Lucas announced.
Andy, who said that he stayed drinking without wanting to participate in this brawl, summarized what happened: “There are scammers everywhere.” Lucas, for his part, has lamented that “I almost took two pineapples because of him.” Still, he took the chair to reception to be kept until someone claimed it.
